Line Tattoo

The assignment: Create a TVC commercial for Maybelline’s new Line Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner. As the name implies, the client was looking for edge (and lots of it), to debut this product that gives tattoo-intense liner looks, and wipes off clean with just water.

The solve: We used our contract model Emily to showcase her (beyond gorgeous) eyes with the black intensity of this tattoo-inspired eyeliner. We wanted to go all in with the tattoo theme for its inherently cool territory, and of course product recall. Using neon parlor lights, an inked up male counterpart and attitude for days, we created a spot that struck the perfect balance of edgy yet chic. We employed bold, cutty supers to tell the story of intense liner looks that come off easily with water.
