The assignment: Maybelline Asia came out with a collection of 5 red lipsticks under the name ‘Red on Fire’. They asked us to create TVC and print assets for the launch.
The solve: I immediately loved the collection name, and knew leaning into a fiery hot territory was the way to go with this one. My art partner and I created a world where the color red enveloped everyone and everything in its path. From the language to the wardrobe to the locations and lighting, this heated, impulse-driven world draws you in and makes you want to pick up the lipstick and have what these girls are having.
